The Grant Professionals Association is the largest professional association dedicated to grant professionals representing the interest of thousands of grant professionals in the U.S., Canada, and across the world.

GPAOC is a membership-based organization and represents a range of grant professionals who service a variety of organizations. The association is dedicated to providing its members with educational training and resources to help them advance themselves and, in turn, the industry. Members of the GPA abide by a strict Code of Ethics and are connected with an extensive network of grant professionals.

Membership is open to any individual with an interest in and commitment to the grants profession. Our members are:

  • Grant proposal developers
  • Grant administrators and program managers
  • Directors of development
  • Program development directors and specialists
  • Grant makers and funders
  • Proposal and program evaluators
  • Independent consultants
  • Grantsmanship trainers and other service providers
  • Executive directors and board members of public and private organizations

GPAOC builds and supports the local Orange County community of grant professionals committed to serving the greater public good by practicing the highest ethical and professional standards.  The Chapter serves the greater Orange County area providing opportunities to network, learn from other grant professionals, participate in professional development opportunities, practice grantsmanship, grow the profession, and assist others in serving the greater common good through grant writing.
