Grant Professionals Association

The Grant Professionals Association (GPA) is the only professional association dedicated to the causes and concerns of grant professionals of all types. Since its inception in 1998, there are currently of more than 2,500 active members, who represent education, government, the nonprofit sector and private enterprise. They include grant developers, managers, funders, administrators, planners, and evaluators. All promote and support the mission and philosophy of the association.

Mission: The Grant Professionals Association builds and supports a community of grant professionals committed to serving the greater public good.

The Grant Professional Certification Institute (GPCI) was formed as an affiliate organization to GPA for the purpose of overseeing the development of critical standards within an ethical framework that will help define the future of grantsmanship.

The Grant Professionals Foundation (GPF) touches the lives of people in our communities by ensuring that resources are available to train, credential and advocate for those grant professionals serving not-for-profit organizations who secure the funding necessary to serve the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors.

GPA Conference

The Grant Professional Association 2018 Annual Conference will be held at the Swissotel in Chicago, IL, from November 7th through the 10th, 2018. The Annual Conference attracts more than 700 grant professionals and features renowned speakers, networking and educational opportunities unparalleled in the grant professional industry.
