Jessica Prechtl is an Orange County, California based grant writer and strategist. Jessica has over ten years of experience developing winning grant proposals for nonprofit organizations in numerous focus areas including advocacy, art, community development, education, health, and youth development. She has helped bring in over $11M in grant awards from public and private sources to support critical community programs.

As the founder of Orange Grants, Jessica specializes in all stages of the grant development process, from funding identification and project planning to proposal writing and project reporting. Grant development is a team effort as it relies on the insight and input of many individuals. Jessica works well engaging with many different types of people and drawing on the strengths of each contributor to craft winning grant proposals with meaningful work plans and budgets.

Jessica holds a master’s degree in applied anthropology with a focus on community organizations from CSU, Long Beach where she won the Robert Harman Award for Outstanding Applied Anthropology Student, Outstanding Graduate Student in Visual Anthropology Award, and the Award for Academic Excellence in Anthropology.

• Communication: Provide status and statistical reports. Participate in committee and board meetings, board retreats, and donor site visits.
